OK service, beautiful setting, lovely menus, and three of us had lunch
for about $110 (no alcohol). But two of the three dishes were very
poorly executed. Mine was called "pork sliders" - but they were like
hockey pucks on tiny buns, and somehow Roy found a way to make pork seem
tasteless. The sliders were served with intensely overspiced potato
chips, the strong flavors of which overcame any vestige of taste
remaining in the meat. We were in too much of a hurry to go through the
complaint process, but the server did not even notice that two of us
barely touched our meals. Unpleasantness in a very pleasant location.
To add insult to injury, after two hours we had to pay $8.00 to get out
of the parking lot, despite the "validation" which, we were told, gives
us a small discount. Discount?
Overall, there are plenty of restaurants near the convention center - I
suggest you pick another one.
