Dear all,

This new release of the IRM provides enhanced support for SDMX-HD. Observation-level metadata, e.g. codelists for organizations and placenames, and export of profile-specific SDMX-HD templates, in particular, are supported making creation of country or organization-specific formats easier. Please see the release notes and online help for more information.

The rollout of version 1.6 of IMR was done this afternoon as scheduled. Many thanks to Dorothy for her assistance. Please find the v1.6 release notes in attachment. The major new features are documented in detail in IMR's online help (refer to "New features in v1.6" section).

The list of issues has been updated on https://workspace.who.int/sites/IMR/Lists/Issue%20List/AllItems.aspx This release addresses most high priority issues. Many remaining issues have been "under discussions" for a while.

As this major release wraps up last year's contract, it seems it is a good timing to meet together in the coming weeks to review the latest features and review remaining issues. This will also give us the opportunity to discuss next steps for the project. Please feel free to let me know about your availability to schedule the meeting.

As discussed with Dorothy today, Florian will send an updated technical setup manual in the coming days, in support for a migration to a shared server that will be done by WHO IT.

Meanwhile, I encourage you to get familiar with the new 1.6 features and get back to Florian or I should you have any questions.
