Rides

The number of riders have been consistently dwindling the past few
rides.
I understand we're all busy, but we need to keep up the rides if we're
gonna continue.

I'd just like some feedback from all of you on availability. When is
the best day/time of day to ride?

We're thinking of doing a set monthly ride with a set meeting place.
How does the last Saturday of the month sound?
Maybe around 7pm or so? We also will need a meeting place.

We can also plan a tech day in the next couple of weeks if any of you
have issues with your bikes.


p.s. Some people from L.A. have a "Run for the Border" rally in the
works. I will keep you posted.

Hey scott do you guys have ordinary gasket rubbery papery shit at the
shop that I could cut to shape? Or should I get treats?

Fix/tech day would be relaxing and pleasant. Perhaps a tech morning
followed by some sort of ride-related afternoon program activity?

Also, does anybody know of any dried up drainage ditch / aqueduct or
other equally apocalyptic site for rides might be?

Also, and just as unrelated, does anybody want to do some frame
painting sometime soon?

Siobahn and I are in hillcrest/banker's hill. Busy weekend ahead of
me but a ride could be in the cards possibly. I need to put a new
clutch cover gasket on or accept a certain amount of oil drippage.

I don't know, I guess somewhere nearby. I just thought it would be

the proper gasket out of Fabio's stuff.
If you're gonna install that kit/rebuild your motor you'll need to
order bearings and seals ayways, so you could get
a whole new gasket kit while you're at it.

I am gonna want to paint the free spirit soon, so yes Id be down. I
may just get it powder coated though.
My dad knows a guy and can get a good price, especially if theres
multiple things to do.
