We'll meet up at 8:30, air down, disconnect, and prep for the trail.
Head out at 9:00 and hit Gunslinger. We'll eat on the trail, so bring
a lunch. If time permits, we can move on to Sidewinder or Bronco Peak.
Gunslinger is listed as a Blue Square (intermediate) trail. Bronco
Peak and Sidewinder are listed as Black Diamond (extreme). Stock
Wranglers and mildly modified Cherokees should do OK on Gunslinger
with minor bumps so long as you drive steadily and listen to your
spotter. We've proven that a stock TJ can get through the other trails
as long as you drive with some skill, listen to your spotter, don't
mind being dragged over a few rocks, and don't expect your Jeep to go
home in the exact condition it started the day out in.
We'll be on CB Chanel 14 to start the day so if you're lost or running
behind you can call us. Make sure to bring enough food, water, and
recovery / trail gear.
If you have any questions, feel free email me. The link is a map to
4-Corners for those not familiar with it.
See you on the trail!
