The Matthews Pancake Rock deployment run

Hay would you look at that, its time for our next jeep run "The Matthews Pancake Rock deployment run"
This particular trail is recommended for experienced off road drivers,
it is also highly recommended that if you drive a stock Jeep that you
sit this one out or find a seat in a friend's built up Jeep. Another
big recommendation for this run is that you have tow points in front
and in the rear of your Jeep - just in case. This trail consists of
deep ruts and demands a lot from any vehicle or driver, this trail is
rough right from the start. With off camber climbing and potential for
body damage all the way through this, it is not a beginner run. At the
peak of the trail there is a steep incline on a patch of slick rock to
reach the top. This is a great trail to run it has always been a lot
of fun, this is a trail that that will test the limits of you and your
Jeep. We will have an experienced driver on lead for the trail and
help you if you need a spotter. As always - the goal is to have a
good time, and we'll do our best to make sure everyone does.
For airing down tires or disconnecting sway bars, we will take care of
all of that at the staging area before the run along with a pretrail
walk through.
We will be meeting up at Meet up at Janet's Cafe for breakfast
8:30-9:30am, then to the staging area for the run at 10:15, hit the
dirt at 10:45-11:00, Reach summit at 12:00-12:30 depending on
attendance, return time (TBD)
(ALL TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITH A LARGER ATTENDANCE)
For those who will be skipping breakfast we will meet you at the
staging area. Please be punctual, and note that cell coverage is
limited once off the 8.

1. At exit 40, take ramp right for CA-79 toward Descanso0.3 mi
2. Turn right onto Japatul Valley Rd5.5 mi
3. Turn left onto Lyons Valley Rd1.5 mi
4. Turn left onto Barrett Truck Trail Unpaved Road
