We have had great response to the call for volunteers to work at the Del Mar Fair Bee Display on Saturdays June 2 thru July 1. If you would like to claim a day for yourself, please respond to the email with your preferred day. You will get free entry into the fair and it's a lot of fun talking to the public about bees and selling honey sticks and bears to raise funds for our group. If you are new to beekeeping we will have info FAQ sheets to help you answer questions and start conversations with fun facts about bees. I will publish the list again next weekend with update of dates still available. Also, feel free to pick a date that already has a volunteer, it is more fun with there are multiple people. The AM shift is from 11am - 2pm and the PM shift is from 1pm -4pm.

INSTRUCTIONS: You can pick up your free passes at will call at the main gate - I MUST HAVE YOUR NAME SO YOUR FREE TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE. I recommend that you park at the high school or polo fields off the Del Mar Heights exit on the 5 and shuttle to the fair. Please check in with Jennifer - the Farm Manager - at the barn at the Family Infield Farm located to the north of the kids area. Have fun sharing your passion for the bees!
THERE ARE STILL A COUPLE OF SHIFTS AVAILABLE IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SIGN UP. PLEASE REVIEW AND MAKE SURE I HAVE YOU SCHEDULED IN THE CORRECT SHIFT. I WILL EMAIL YOU THE WEEK BEFORE YOUR SHIFT TO REMIND YOU. PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.
