The quality and ratio of greens and browns is very important for successful composting. Most backyard composters have an ample supply of greens (foodscraps), but we scrounge around for browns (carbon rich materials) which are so important to the composting process.

Join our collective by purchasing a regular supply of carbon rich materials. This is a 45 gallon bag of shredded oat straw plus 1 gallon of compost starter. It will provide a backyard composter with enough carbon rich materials for 6-12 months.
