Remember that we moved our Garden Workday (typically the first Sat of the month) to next weekend in observance of the holiday weekend. We'll gather next Sat July 11 to complete maintenance and projects. You can join anytime in the morning but we'll start at 8am to beat the heat. Projects planned:
- Fix and maintain wheelbarrows
- Repair the rotten step at the shed
- Remove overgrown plants blocking the paths
- Complete laying the decomposed granite on the paths
Work Hours Reminder
We have two months before our annual plot renewals. All gardeners must be in good standing in order to renew your plot. This includes having logged your required 2 hours/month of work hours. This means that as of today, each plot should have 20 hours of work logged for your plot. Gardeners that joined mid-season are pro-rated. You can check and log hours on your gardener dashboard. We'll send individual reminders to gardeners who are very behind but please be proactive in taking care of your garden contractual responsibilities.
Annual Meeting: August 8th: 9am-12pm - need location!
We've benefited from having a longer annual meeting before the plot renewal process for the last two years. This is planned for Aug 8th. We need a location! If you are a resident in one of the nearby apartments and can help us reserve a meeting space, it would be appreciated! Reach out to the garden admin email if you can help or can help in planning any other way.
