Agenda & Discussion

Introductions & New GardenersWork Hour Tracking & Plot Inspections
  • All Gardeners are required to complete 2 hours of work per month. This is in addition to your work on your plots.

  • Once a quarter you can pay a $10 fee instead of completing your hours.

  • Inspections scheduled for November, February, May.

    • Reviewed process for accountability and feedback.

2025–2026 Plot Renewal Process
  • Bob raised the idea of adding a $50 deposit to encourage work completion.

    • Concerns raised: fairness if someone leaves due to health; clarity on what’s in a new plot when inherited.

    • Will discuss at future meetings and consider longer term changes.

  • Need to document and share plot plants and status better.

Garden Finances
  • Reported on Garden balances and funds

Committee Breakouts, Nominations & Roles

  • Need to self-govern in workgroups and report back to the group on projects and needs.

  • Make sure you’re in your Workgroups in Discord and participating there.

  • Workdays need volunteers to coordinate.

Compost, Trash & Recycling
  • Trash bags available in shed.

  • If you can’t take bagged trash, let others know.

  • There are new hoses (donated from APF) in the shed, replace leaky ones if needed.

Maintenance

  • Wheelbarrows need repair. Please volunteer if you have skills with this,

  • Reminder: turn water off at the spigot. Leave the sprayer open to allow the hose to expand/contract.
