A reminder that this Sat (tomorrow) is our scheduled monthly garden work day.
It looks like it might be rainy but we'll do the best we can. The workday is scheduled to start at 8am but we adjust if needed with the rain and people are welcome to come out all morning. If your plot and paths have issues with grass and weeds, the wet soil can make it a lot easier to pull them out at the root.
A few other reminders/notices:
The city has workers that are going to be coming to the Pavilion to remove damaged panels. They should only be removing the damaged ones and they continue to explore options for replacing all the covers. Additionally our gardener, Kelton has done an amazing job helping us start conversations with the construction company that he works for to explore if they could help. We're still in early discussions but it sounds promising that they'll be able to help in some way. Thank you Kelton!
Reminder to gardeners that failed inspections that you have until June 22 to return your plot to good standing and reply to the email you received from the garden admin. You can check the status of your inspections on your gardener dashboard in the GardenCommunities app.
Also remember to complete and log your monthly required 2 hours of work hours. Remember that work in your plot does not count as work hours. These work hours are to contribute to the general care and maintenance of the garden. All gardens should have 18 hours logged to date. The average hours logged per plot is currently 12 hours.
