Join us on Nov 1 to support St David's Foundation Community Garden at MLK Park. Sat Nov 1 is It's My Park Day and the SDF Community Garden is one of the sites where volunteers can help.
This is a city-wide day of service across all of Austin's Parks to help improve the places we enjoy. Register for our It's My Park Day event here:
Date: Sat Nov 1, 2025 - 9am - 12pm
Location: St David's Foundation Community Garden, 2907 E Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Austin, TX 78702
Project: We'll be clearing out the old teaching garden area to make room for more plots and reconditioning some of the gravel paths with fresh decomposed granite.
As an official It's My Park Day event, you'll get a free T-shirt that also gives you discounts and perks at many Austin venues.
If you are on the waiting list for the garden, volunteering also will help you move up the waiting list for a plot faster!
