Local Businesses to Participate in International HIV/AIDS Fundraising Effort More than 30 bars and restaurants have generously agreed to participate in Dining Out For Life®, an event that will raise funds for HIV/AIDS services and programs in San Diego on Thurs., April 26. "Everyone can make a difference in our fight against HIV by simply dining out for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner at select local restaurants on Thursday, April 26," said Jennifer Jones, director of development for The Center. "These incredible San Diego businesses will donate 25 percent of their food and beverage sales on that day to benefit HIV/AIDS services and programs. Funds raised benefit The Center's critical HIV/AIDS programs, including direct health, along with prevention efforts targeting Youth and Latinos." Each year, more than 2,500 restaurants in over 30 cities throughout the United States and Canada donate a portion of their proceeds from Dining Out for Life® to the licensed agencies in their respective cities. This year marks the first time San Diego has participated in this event. Please join us and help us make our first time a success!
