Local Businesses to Participate in International HIV/AIDS Fundraising Effort

More than 30 bars and restaurants have generously agreed to participate in Dining Out For Life®, an event that will raise funds for HIV/AIDS services and programs in San Diego on Thurs., April 26.

"Everyone can make a difference in our fight against HIV by simply dining out for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner at select local restaurants on Thursday, April 26," said Jennifer Jones, director of development for The Center. "These incredible San Diego businesses will donate 25 percent of their food and beverage sales on that day to benefit HIV/AIDS services and programs. Funds raised benefit The Center's critical HIV/AIDS programs, including direct health, along with prevention efforts targeting Youth and Latinos."

Local establishments that have committed to serve as Dining Out For Life® participants include: Antique Row Café, Bacchus House, Baja Betty's, Bambu Bistro, Boathouse Restaurant, The Brass Rail Nightclub & Lounge, Brian's American Eatery, Café 2121, Café Au Lait, Café Eleven, Cafe on Park, California Cuisine, Caliph Piano Lounge, Crush, DiMille's Italian Restaurant, Flick's, Gulf Coast Grill, Inn at the Park, Jimmy Carters, Kemo Sabe, Lei Back Café, Lei Lounge, Lucky Buck's, Lumberjack Grille, Martinis Above Fourth, The Mission - Mission Beach, The Mission - North Park, The Mission - SOMA, The Other Side Coffee House, Parkhouse Eatery, Pecs Bar, Ponce's Mexican Restaurant, Redwing Bar & Grill, Saigon on Fifth, Santos Coffee House, St. Tropez Bakery & Bistro, Taste of Italy and Urban Mo's.
