Greetings!
One of my phalaenopsis orchids is recovering from losing most of its roots from being overwatered. It has grown some new roots and leaves. However, it is now producing a flower spike. I am concerned that this plant is too weak to bloom this season and am considering cutting the flower spike to encourage the orchid to focus on leaves and roots. I'm thinking that an additional year of root and leave growth would be better for the long term health of the orchid. Please advise!
