Hello! We bought some beautiful orchids at the show in San Diego last year at the Casa Del Prado and being new to orchids don’t know what to do now that the flowers have gotten to the end of their lives and dropped off. The plant looks super healthy but has really long spikes without any flowers. Do we trim these down to the leaves and continue to feed? Can they be repotted at this point or do you trim back the old roots that are coming out of the pot? Help for novice would be greatly appreciated!
