4 issues observed lately with SDC v19.0604

Hi Yuri and all,

Here's 3 issues I've discovered during VOLTA RTTY DX contest with version v19.0604.

1-In Run Mode, when waiting for report from other station, SDC doesn't catch call from other stations for stacking even if in callsign database.

2-When CQing, with DIGI: Auto delay TX whilst DX station transmits enabled, if my station in Auto-CQ begins to CQ while another transmission is detected just a few milliseconds before my station start to CQ, my station repeats the CQ sequence instead of only 1 occurrence (always had this issue since I first use SDC in last January)

3-In VOLTA contest, SDC doesn't block me from logging a station of my own call area (for me VE2) and still counts the points from that station. I assume it's doing the same for other call area from  Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand and United States or same DXCC for other entities. Here's the rule for VOLTA for this issue: "Contacts between stations within the same DXCC Country or same call-area (for Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand and United States) will not be valid (count: 0 point, no multiplier, nor as call-area). (e.g.: a JA2 station can work JA1, JA3, JA4 etc, but not JA2)."

4-From at least 19.0604 and still present in 19.0611: The New QSO windows minimum size are greater than it was before and that means there's far less place particularly when using smaller/older monitors like my 22 inches 1680x1060. Is it possible to make the minimum size greater like it was before?

Hi Luc, Thank you for your feedback.

1. Calling parties are captured for the "Next Call" list only if the cursor is in the Call field. I'm not sure if this should be done when receiving a exchange number.

2. I'll look into the problem.

3. I agree; this will be fixed in the next version.

4. In the next version, you'll be able to enable the "Ignore minimum size" option.

Thanks Yuri for your quick response as always

1-I think it could be an option at least but yeah, there could be some confusion between exchanges and callsigns, especially with contests when callsigns are present in the exchange
