Hi,

S&P
I have found some instability in ESM using the SpotList.

There are two states into which a click on the SpotList call sign
can put the Call cell in the New QSO window

1.
The cursor blinks in. Hitting <Enter> starts the macro - always OK.

2.
    No cursor in the cell.
To make the <Enter> work, one needs to put the cursor into the cell
beside the call sign and then use <Enter>. However, miraculously there were times
when the ESM macro started without the cursor.

Can You, please,
have a look into it ?

Best regards,
Alec

Alec, I don't see the problem.
Some events that do not require focus in the call sign field to start an ESM:
- If you move through the list in the SpotList window and press Enter, the focus will be transferred to the "New QSO" window and the ESM procedure will begin.
- If the cursor is in the "New QSO" window in some other field, such as a button, or in the frequency, CW rate field and you press Enter, the ESM will also start. In this case it depends on the field where the focus was (Call, NR).

Yuri,

it looks You somehow have misunderstood me.

OK.
You operate Your way, maybe a better one,
I operate my way which suits me enough, and that is:

I left click on the call in the SpotList, the focus is supposed to go
to the Call field in the New QSO window which, then, makes me ready
for further ESM.

..If the cursor is in the "New QSO" window in some other field:
You suggest that the above described "left click" may also bring focus
to any other field in the New QSO than the Call field?

If so, tell me where the focus went for the case No, 2.
Anyway, actually, I am not interested in the answer as it is irrelevant.

Instead, make it so, please, that there is no case No.2,
and the "left click" action in the SpotList ALWAYS puts focus
to the Call field in the New QSO window. to make one ready for ESM
without any additional focussing moves.

PLEASE....

Just to bring back case No.2
2..
    No cursor in the cell.
To make the <Enter> work, one needs to put the cursor into the cell
beside the call sign and then use <Enter>. However, miraculously there were times
when the ESM macro started without the cursor.

Best regards,
Alec

Alec, check this box and the focus will be transferred to the New QSO window field Call whenever you select a spot. Even if you click on a spot on the transceiver panorama.
