Hi

I have been using SDC for a few months, predominantly using Data and CW and find it light years ahead of N1MM+ which I have used for over 30 years. I elected to used SDC in the IOTA contest in CW mode and found it superb the only thing that I missed was the ability to have the known island reference numbers shown against the islands callsigns.

During the contest, I thought I would quickly set it up for SSB to gain extra points.

Unfortunately, I could not find a way of quickly importing my tried and tested N1MM audio files into SDC.

To keep pace with the latest changes I have just downloaded and installed a fresh copy of the SDC19x64 and have found a folder called sounds/g3wgc in this setup and I have quickly imported my N1MM files into this file but this did not work.

I then downloaded the online SDC manual and find that the latest manual has not kept pace with the new audio setups and would ask for clear guidance with setting up the SDC audio folders. IE: where to put the audio files and which recordings are needed and if it is posable to simply import our tried and tested N1MM audio files.

Also, many stations use multi operators in big contests and I wonder if it is posable to set up multi operators’ setups in SDC.

Should multi operators be possible It would also help if a multi operator callsign change log were available both during and at the end of the contest.

Hi Mimram
Thanks for the feedback.
SDC has everything to work in SSB with sound files. And even more: in version 19 there is Speech processor, which pronounces the text itself.
I appreciate users who have written manuals, but they often lag behind development. Use the manual that is available in the program (only Windows). You may find in it answers to all your questions.
