Using SSDR v3.5.9 and am trying to get SDC to overlay spots on the Panadapter like I can do with FRStacks. I have read the manual and think I have SDC configured but can not get the Spots to show on the Panadapter. Here is my config in SDC:

To add; I have a connection to SSDR as I have the Auto control Pan noise floor  and    Auto control AGC threshold working as it should.

Have it working. Issue was the the "Spotters" do not automatically start when SDC is launched. I notices that the TCI client also does not Auto Start. Guess I am missing that trick.

When any program connects to the Telnet Server, all spotters and the Spots->Panorama system will start automatically.

You do not need the TCI client because you use the SmartSDR-API client to work with SmartSDR.

OK, I had nothing connecting to the Telnet server, will try a client.

As for TCI, yes I ma not using it for SSDR but am trying it with Thetis
which supports TCI for panadapter spots. I do get the spot overlay just
fine on Thetis (v2.10.02) BUT I must manually hit the Connect button to
establish a TCI link in order for it to work.

I am trying to consolidate programs.

BUT I must manually hit the Connect button to
establish a TCI link in order for it to work.

In order to connect to the TCI server of the Thetis program automatically, Thetis developers should implement a broadcast messages that the server is on and waiting for connection. This is how SmartSDR and ExpertSDR programs work.

Right now, the launch system works like this:
1. the Telnet Server is waiting for the log program to connect.
2. Once the log is connected, the "Start Spotters" button is enabled and the Spot->Panorama system is activated
3. The skimmer is started. To do this, you must check "Connect and Start SKM Server". Or you should set SKM-Server to start automatically when you start the program. It is SKM-Server that initiates the connection to the TCI server, or API.
4. If the connection to the TCI. or API server fails, the TCI, or API clients go into UDP port listening mode.

I can add to the "Spots->Panorama" program to start connecting TCI, or API clients without starting SKM-Server.

Looking at the picture you have posted, you don't actually have spotters started. Try clicking on "Start Spotters" and see if that helps.

Yes that was already noted. I did have it running but when I restarted SDC I did not realize the Spots would not auto-start unless there was a connection to he Telnet Server.
