UDP Port Issue

New to Group and SDC

Trying to setup Skimmer with new Flex 8600

In the SmartSDR API tab, can't get the UDP Port to connect. Have the 2 blue plugs  showing not connected. Changed port number to 4996 as shown in the video but still no luck.

Any suggestions or changes to get me past this step?

Paul, show us a screenshot of the SmartSDR-API tab.

My setup for the 8400  is 

- Host Nickname = ThIs must equal the name of your radio [ See : SmartSDR> Settings > Radio > Radio Identification> Nickname]

- TCP Port 4992

UDP port -  This is populated automatically after the radio has made a connection

In the screenshot, I should see the SDC window in the background of the SmartSDR window. For example:

Got it connected

Screen shot helped- don't think I had 4 boxes at bottom , not sure why - but now working.

Onto the next step in skimmer setup

OK have the SKM Skimmer working too, very nice

- what is the little IQ window in the middle for?  ( I did move of to side)

- One of reasons ( many others) came back to Flex was Elecraft K4 had no IQ output - so no CWSkimmer . So 8600 arrives 

and find out Slice Master doesn't work with new SSDR  - so couldn't get CWSlimmer running.. So far maybe glad it doesn't - like what I see of SDC.

So next step is to figure out how to get the spots from SDC to SSDR.
