I have read the manual about the panorama and the SKM  but I am still confused about how to accurately control things when using SDC with the Flex API .

I would like to "skim" some wider bandwidth at times .  Perhaps 65 kHz occasionally . Is this possible ?   I tried changing the bandwidth setting from 50 kHz but that results in a broken CW line in the panorama window .

Also, what is the recommended way to adjust the Lo ? I t is probably my error but sometimes the Lo frequency changes when I click on the Flex waterfall and sometimes it does not .  So, for example if I am skimming 14.005 to 14.060 but then want to change to 14.015 to 14.070 , how would I do that ?

Andy, to understand this, try drawing the geometry. Start from the assumption that you know the width of the IQ stream (48-192 kHz) and that the center of this stream is always tied to the center of the panorama you see.
In my opinion, binding the center of the IQ stream to the center of the panorama is one of the serious mistakes in Flex, which causes a lot of problems for skimmers.
