The DIGI Tab in SDC

Hi Yuri

I have been using SDC and 5MContest for some years now and I am very pleased with the results when using the SDC DIGI tab with my SunSDR2-DX and 5MContest, using EE's TCI protocol.

However, I am getting increasingly concerned about using Expert Electronics' products because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and consequently I am considering alternative strategies for my future CW and Data contesting.

I note you are currently busy developing SDC to operate with the Flex 6x000 series of transceivers and wonder if it is your intention to eventually have an SDC DIGI tab for RTTY & PSK operating with the Flex's but presumably not using the TCI protocol?

Ray, cooperation with EE is terminated for all known reasons.
I am currently working on integrating SDC and SmartSDR. SmartSDR also has an interface (TCP-IP + UDP API) that will allow you to connect digital modules of the SDC program to it.
Then I plan to contact the N1MM developers to connect the log to the SDC-DIGI.

Hi, after testing some contest softwares, N1MM is very good but I think that DXLOG is another very good candidate that could be connected to SDC in the future if possible.

SDC version 16.03 has been published on the SDC website. Added connection to SmartSDR API to SDC DIGI Server. Transmission in this version goes through the audio channel.
The program must work with 5MContest. Working with N1MM will be possible when the developers of this program implement an interface for working with SDC-DIGI Server.

I managed to connect the SDC Digi Modem to the N1MM via DXP38. The test version (15.0304) is published on the site.

1. SDC-DIGI Modem is adapted for working with SmartSDR in RTTY modulation mode.

2. SDC-SKM - RTTY skimmer adapted for working with Smartsdr

Thank you Yuri for 0307 which I have downloaded.

Tonight we have a CW contest on 80M so I will check out the new RTTY version tomorrow or later this week
