MacOS and reload of cabrillo log not working

HI!

I saved a CWT file as cabrillo and backup. If I reload any file SDC crashes. So I cannot test next Question below.

What is philosofy of database filesand a cabrillo log? If I have saved a e g CWT log as cabrillo and start a new CWT file will it remember old calls like a call history log?

1. The program crash is a bug in the program. I'll check it out.

2. A database file can contain only one contest. This means that no history is generated. I will think about this issue.

So can I save several logs in one database then? Like multiple CWT logs? How do I start a new CWT log (every week) and remember the old member names and numbers?

You asked an interesting question.

I am currently working on creating an automatic history. Only one contest is stored in the database. Before the next contest you will clear the database, but the history for key fields will be saved.

I tried to load MacOS 17.1702 to see if I could load an old CQT Cabrillo log but this version also crasches.

Version 17.23 has been published. It introduces the ability to maintain multiple logs in one database. You can download old logs. See manual for description.

I am using the current version 19.0312. I made a backup of my CQ WW CW contest log in cabrillo format. Now I want to restore the log on a different computer. Unfortunately the import does not work. Any hints?

UPDATE: I tried it on a different Mac and there it works. Will have to reinstall on my other Mac.

MacOS sometimes experiences problems due to increased file access rights requirements.
