Although I have used SDC for over a year now, I still cannot get the skimmer server to be receiving DATA  reliably .  Sometimes it works well, I see signals in the SKM waterfall and other times there are no visible signals, the waterfall is blank .  It will stay blank until I reboot my Flex 6600 that is on the same network as SDC.  The problem is that a simple reboot does not always work, sometimes I have to reboot the radio and SDC several times.  Tonight, I set up for WPX but no data in the SKM .  It is frustrating to have to reboot everything .  Does anyone else with a Flex (SmartSDR for Mac)  have the same problem or a suggested solution ?

I did turn it off , then rebooted and it has now started working and looks beautiful with the dark screen .  I am afraid to close anything though  :)

Try changing the port number for the UDP connection. The system or another program may be blocking this connection.

I will give that a try when the problem reappears.  Thanks

Hi.

I also have a similar problem here, thought it was just me!  I have a Flex 6600. I have found that if I tick the Telnet tab in Actispot, the panafall does fill, I then turn it off. Don't think that should happen but just wondering if it is just a Flex problem.  I am still having tutoring sessions here however, still fairly new to SDC, great program!

Thanks also for the manual Rich. I am reading my way through it......
