I am interested in how to interpret the technical data for a spot.

I assume the first 3 characters reflect the validation performed in the call.
If the second charater is a F does that mean it was found in the master data file?
The numbers before and after have something to do with the number of decodes?

Thanks

Yes. The first digit indicates the number of times the call sign was decoded; the letter indicates which DTA directory the callsign was found in; the second digit indicates the time at which the decision to issue the spot was made.
This is technical information that was used during the development of the skimmer program. It is no longer needed.

I was thinking that it could be used to fine tune the validation parms.

Thanks
