Change to RTTY contest sent exchange

I was testing out my setup ahead of next weekend's CQRTTYWW and noticed that when I send my exchange a dash is transmitted between my CQ region and state. 

example: 04-MO

I would like to change the dash to a space so that my transmitted exchange is: 

04 MO

How do I do that?

Just right click on the buttons in the New QSO window to open the Functional Key Messages editor. You should see the - under the F2 settings. for RUN and S/P.  Just tweak your exchange in whatever manner you wish removing the -

Nope, it doesn't show in the exchange editor as a separate piece.  It seems baked into [EXCH].

Mine has the - but removing it does not help as you have said.

Try going to contest> Rules and under basic removing it from the Sent rule [CQ]- [SECT]
