Hello,

I'm new to SDC and trying to get my configuration correct.
I am currently using the latest version of SMARTSDR, LOG4OM and SDC, so everything should be up to date.

Currently I have SKM spots being displayed on the SMARTSDR panoramic screen as expected.

I have LOG4OM configured to send spots to SDC.
In SDC telnet server in spotter A, I see the spots flowing from LOG4OM.  I know its from log4om because if I stop/start it on log4om a message is sent to SDC stating its from LOG4OM.

I see a constant flow of spots in the SDC SPOTTER A window, but none of it shows up on the SMARTSDR panoramic display, like the cw skimmer does.

Is there an option that isnt obvious?

Thanks

You may need to check the box in Spotter A > to Pan.

I assume you mean at the top right hand corner.

I see the spots leaving LOG4OM and go into the spotter A log, but nothing actually is displayed on the panoramic spots for the spots coming from LOG4OM, only the skimmer calls display.

I also noticed that SDC seems to work better if I keep its window displayed on my screen rather in the background.

Phil, I've found the cause. The problem is that Log4OM doesn't terminate the client connection with any kind of acknowledgment or greeting. This is a protocol violation.
I'll add a workaround to the program to get around this error, but the Log4OM developer should also fix the issue, since other programs might run into the same problem.
