CW Calls Not Showing on Waterfall

When I look at the waterfall, I see many traces but no callsigns associated with the trace.  If I look at the decoded callsigns window, I see many decoded callsigns.  Say I'm tuned to 14.010 on VFO A and VFO B split is tuned to 14.012. I see many individual traces from the pileup from 14.011 to 14.015, but no decodes.  If I look way up the spectrum to say 14.027 I will see some decoded callsigns. If I click on the DXStation's trace in the waterfall, it will decode in the window at the bottom.  Radio is a Flex 8600.

By default, the skimmer displays stations that are operating in Run mode. I don't think anyone in the pileup is operating in this mode.

You can configure the skimmer to display callsigns in the processing area of function 599. To do this, check the "Spotting only Pile-Up" box in the settings for this function.

But I don't see the point in this, because behind this forest of callsigns on the panorama, you may not see the "599" icon, which is more important.
