v 17.2922. SSB, DIGI Audio TX stream via UDP

Test version 17.2922 has been published, and it implements a system of direct audio stream transmission via UDP.

For macOS, this makes it much easier to set up SSB and DIGI macro transmissions, since you no longer need the audio cable program.

I tested it Yuri , using a Mac Mini M2 with Sonoma OS. I started the Digi Server and set the Flex to RTTY and I have tones as expected when I transmit.  I do not have "DAX Streaming" set in SmartSDR for Mac as I usually do , so it looks like your new solution is perfect.

Test version 17.2923 has been published. Due to the fact that delays in audio drivers no longer affect the operation of SDC+SmartSDR complex, it was possible to significantly reduce the time of RX-TX-RX switching and switching of modulation types.

SmartSDR CAT and SmartSDR DAX are no longer needed for SDC-Contest. I have disabled these options in the SmartSDR settings.

One thing I've noticed since this change is if I have SDC running, if I try to use another digimode program outside of SDC the transmit UDP from program doesn't work.  I at times would like to have SDC running for its CW Skimmer feeing spots into my logging program and pan adapter on my flex as well as I like the auto AGC-T and floor adjustments.  But since this change if I try and use WSJT-X it will not allow my to transmit through it.  Not sure if that makes sense or not.  Not sure if it is a setting I need to adjust in SDC I am overlooking or what.

Michael, this is a feature of Flex transceiver: if any program is running using UDP streams, SmartSDR-DAX stops working. To use several programs simultaneously, you can switch SDC-Skimmers to DAX IQ + SmartSDR-API mode and disable UDP Stream in SDC-SmartSDR API setting. You will also have to disable automatic noise and AGCT control .

Hello!

I'm in the same situation as AA5SH, but switching to DAX IQ + SmartSDR-API causes the UDP link to disconnect and the skimmer to stop. Running on MacOS Sequoia. 

Any suggestions, or should I just not run SDC while running an additional digimode program?

A new system of UDP DAX TX blocking has been developed. Now DAX blocking will only occur if an application that uses it (MACRO, DIGI, Contset) is running in the SDC
