No audio from QSO MP3 files

Hi Yuri,

Today I did another contest. What a relief, because with SDR as support I work much faster and more controlled. (SDC version V18.03).

I have problems playing the recorded QSOs in MP3 format. I do not receive any audio.
However, I can play recorded QSOs from the old V17 version without any problems.
What is going on here?

Please help.

In version 17, Sidetone was present in the audio files, but it was synthesized in parallel and did not always match the actual transmission, which raised questions.

Install the latest version (18.0318). The manual (Contest->Audio->QSO audio recording) describes in detail how audio recording is done now. One of the reasons for creating RIG-Audio is to be able to create audio files that record both the receiver, transmitter, and even the paddle. You can choose not to use RIG-Audio and select the audio device "DAX Audio RX1..." (in New QSO settings), but in this case only the receiver will be recorded in the audio file, because unfortunately SmartSDR does not provide Sidetone on the computer side.

RMT Client/Server does not apply to Flex-Remote.

Hi Youri, 

after some searching I have hopefully extracted all the relevant settings windows (version 18.0318) from the V17. manual. 

The only thing that still does not work is the keyer audio in the audio recordings. 

Can you please take a look at the 5 windows what is still an incorrect setting for me.

Everything is set up correctly. The file should record the sound of the Sidetone.

You have selected the "Continuously" recording type, which is continuous recording. Perhaps you need to select the "Each QSO" type?

Update the program to version 18.0319.

Yuri,
The audio is no longer via the FlexRadio and works fine.
For testing I had set "continuously" for auto recording, now it is set to "Each QSO-1" for the upcoming WWW WPX contest.
To play the QSO sound files,  RIG Audio has to be unchecked, but that makes sense because my sound card can't do two things at once.
