I've been using SDC for a while and very impressed.

Today I switched from ethernet cable to wifi  and I cannot now connect to TCP port.

I've tried all ports between 4990 and 4999 without success.

Reconnected ethernet and switched off wifi and all's working again on port 4992.

Any pointers?

Check if there is isolation between Wi-Fi and eth.

This is not common in home router when using main Wi-Fi but some have the feature (look for AP isolation).

Also, check you are not connected to the guest Wi-Fi which is instead usually isolated

Thanks Max for your suggestions.

Messed about for a couple of hours this am.

Now TCP port doesn't open at all even with ethernet enabled.

Is there a way of examining tcp port availability?

Hi Duncan, explain a little more your current setup. When you say TCP port you mean the ethernet port? What is your OS?

What is your router? Does it have a reset button in case you messed it up?
