Using the SkimerServer and the 599 feature with a Flex

I watched the Youtube videos on how to set up the 599 feature , it seems easy to do.  The skimmer server works well as usual but I never see any callsigns in the Panadapter for me to use the 599 feature.  I see callsigns in the skimmer server window and CW is decoded in the window. I see the brackets in my Smarsdr macOS panadapter , indicating  that the bandwidth for the 599 feature ... but no callsigns . I did on one occasion see a question mark  ( a ? character ) in the pandapater but never a callsign.  I used the North Cook Island station to test, each station he worked was sending a 599.  Any ideas ?  Is there a setting where I need to turn on "spots" ?

Andy, SmartSDR panorama does not support double-byte characters, which is the default in the SDC program, so enter 0 in the marker codes setting and enter the character expression you want to see on the panorama in the field on the right.

Thanks , I will try those settings. Does this work if another program is also sending spots to the panadapter ?  I use Maclogger DX and it can also send spots to the panadater.  Perhaps I need to turn MacLogger off when using Maclogger ?
