While it wasn’t a great turn out, it was great to see Cantor Mark and our new star Bernie come out and join us for breakfast.
We were able to visit 3 cemeteries: Shalom Memorial Park in Huntington Valley, PA, Roosevelt Memorial Park in Trevose, PA, and Montefiore Cemetery in Rockledge, PA.
We visited graves of our loved ones and the ones that we were sent to visit. We said prayers and Kaddish.
It was warm and humid. But the reception that we received at the Montefiore’s office underlines what a great thing we are doing. We were asked to autograph 2 copies of the last week’s Jewish Exponent article. One copy will be hanging on the wall of the office and the other will go to sweet Emmanuelle (Manni), a precious 10 year girl that was helping her father behind the desk. She also received our pin.
With so many more cemeteries to visit, in addition to the South Jersey tour next week, we are adding September 13th to the roster to visit the Main Line cemeteries.
Hoping for a larger turnout next week and on the 13th.
Have a great week and ride safe.
