I am hoping that this is not the first time that you are being made aware of this. I hope that you can attend whether for the beautiful ride or just the festivities afterwards. This is a great cause and you will enjoy this.
“The Star of David Bikers have teamed with the Bucks County Friends of AFMDA (American Friends of Magen David Adom) to create a day for motorcyclists and motorcycle enthusiasts in order to raise the very necessary funds in support of Magen David Adom (Red Star of David) and especially in their medical support of Sderot.
Magen David Adom has built a new and reinforced facility in Sderot as the current facility has been damaged by the attacks. They need much financial support. This is our opportunity to create the largest and most effective motorcycle event in the Philadelphia area to benefit a Jewish cause.
The event will begin with a motorcycle tour through the very scenic Bucks County.
Following the tour, the motorcyclists will return to the starting point of Shir Ami (a reform synagogue) in Newtown, PA where they will be joined by the general public for a Motorcycle showcase, best motorcycle judging competition, live music, food, drinks, games, prizes and more...
Our goal for the event is to raise $50,000 for Magen David Adom and its team of volunteer and professional medical responders to provide Sderot with medical, disaster, ambulance and blood services.”
This event will be held at Shir Ami in Newtown, PA on June 14th, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We will be joined by Hillel’s Angels of NJ, Chai Riders of NY, Baltimore Yehudim Riders, The Tribe of DC and VA, The Lost Tribe of VA Beach and other motorcyclists from the regional area.
I looking forward to seeing the entire Jewish (Motorcycle) community there.
