Dear Joe,
I am under the assumption that because you are sending this three and a half months after the event, your concern is not due to anything that occurred during the event.
Being a fellow resident of Bucks County, I completely understand the appreciation for peace in our neighborhoods.
While I cannot speak of other bikers, I assure you that members of my organization are responsible riders and we maintain our motorcycles with mufflers and exhaust systems that are at least within limits of all legal noise ordinances. We are professional people that also happen to enjoy motorcycling. In addition to that, when we participate in group rides, we make sure that we ride within manageable numbers of motorcycles in order to reduce any impact to traffic and whatever noise disturbances many motorcycles riding together, even with factory mufflers, may cause.
Many of my fellow riders who participated in the event are also Bucks County residents. The community of Bucks County has been very supportive and have donated to our charity.
I hope this note addresses your concern. Now that this is settled, the only question remains is when do we expect to receive your donation?

Dear Louis and Mark,
You are probably not aware of this but the people of Bucks County, on whose roads you plan to ride, object strongly to the very intrusive noise that most motorcycles bring. Every weekend, we are subject to thousands of extremely noisy engines destroying the quiet that we moved here to enjoy. We welcome respectful visitors to our beautiful countryside, but we do not welcome those who bring intentional noise to our peaceful roads and homes. I urge you to either limit your tour to motorcycles with factory mufflers, or choose a route through a community that wants to hear all that noise. Our citizens will not consider donating to an organization that disturbs our peace.
