Thanks Thomas. We've already been in touch with Jacques about this. Is that the same training? Our outreach group (CCd here) has been starting some great work on Twitter and Facebook. Jacques has their contact details, but he said there's no definitive date set yet. Is that still the latest?

SDNYC has been running the show when it comes to the main SD twitter/facebook accounts and it's long overdue for them to decentralize and have members of chapters from all over the world contribute. They are being smart about it and staying coordinated. As a preliminary step to opening up these resources the SM group is planning on holding a social media training so that those of us with access to these resources can stay on the same page and be accountable to each other and the broader group. Maybe some of the organizers in SDBA would have a good idea about a few trusted people in the Bay Area who would be good at this kind of work?
