SONG CALL CRITERIA
North England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists
Camp Meeting Theme Song 2008

Poets and musicians are invited to work together and to submit a theme
song for the North England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Camp
Meeting 2008. The theme is Movement of Destiny and ideas should
include Revelation 14:12 our obedience, faith and commitment to the
leading of the Lord. (Please email for more details)
The theme song will be chosen by the Camp Meeting Music Committee 2008
using the following criteria:

1. Singable: easy to sing. It shouldn't have too wide a vocal range
and should appeal to our divergent membership

2. Memorable: words and melody must be simple enough to be easily
remembered after a day

3. Theological Integrity: theological soundness and depth must be
compatible with Adventist beliefs.

4. Original: the music and lyrics should be owned by the submitter(s)
or credited to the original owner.

5. Recording: should be of good quality to enable the judges to assess
your song properly

6. By submitting your song, you are giving permission for it to be
used by the North England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in the
manner they see fit.

File Format: Audio (digital format - i.e. MP3 or Audio CD is
preferred) and print (the lyrics should be in a word document).
The chosen song will be circulated to Music Co-ordinators, Choir
Leaders and Worship Leaders across the NEC

Deadline: 12 noon Monday 14th April 2008
