Mini SDA school reunion

Guys, I pity those who could not join us at Caravan, Kochi today. Eight of us managed to huddle over what was ice-cream a hour ago and shared some hearty laughs.

 

On the agenda was a game where late comers had to guess the names of those who were already at the table. Given the fact that some of us were meeting each other after twenty (!!!) long years it wasn't surprising that all of us did not win at this game.

 

Just to build up suspense, here that journey through memory lane once again (on request). Some of us will be posting pictures from today's get together very soon.

Dear colleagues. Wow fantastic. It was just lovely seeing the pictures. Gosh so many of the mannerisms ( in pics) are just the same that I remember clearly with each of you. And hey had no problem in identifying anyone :-). Keep up the good job and hopefully I can meet up with a few of you the next time I am on kochi. Hi All,

 

Truly amazing pictures, memories of old days have come to life. I completely agree that I had no problems in identifying each and evry one of you. Although yes many of you have expanded " to quote the same correctly" " in width" but yes all he same faces and mannerisms too, I'am truly one of the unlucky ones who could not be in Kochi.

 

Yes Great to see all of you after 22 years and defenitely a nostalgic moment......

Jaycee, adipoli captions!! Added depth and special effects to the 2D
pix - very creative indeed.

Job & Seema I am equally delighted that you could share our
sentiments. It seems that you are part of these pictures somehow.

By the by it was probably easier for you guys to recognize Rupesh from
the snaps; but Tsiji's existential crises doing the same in dimly lit
Caravan was heart rending :)

As for me, I think I could have recognized both the ladies if I bumped
into them on Broadway, but the gentlemen (with the exception of point
five)...that would have been tough! Jaycee is big (!!) and has an even
bigger bush on his upper lip - a common trait he shares with Rupesh &
Jethin. Jethin, as you would have noticed, is still camera shy and
rarely spoke once the ladies joined in (some things just don't
change).

Rafi and Rupesh are amply more three dimensional than during school
days. You can't squeeze them both into a chair anymore.

Couldn't help notice that the ladies didn't seem to have aged at all
;) and neither of them had beer bellies either (lol).

One thing was certain - we laughed our hearts out oblivious to the
crowd around us and we were happy in each others company. I think we
became school kids once again.

Yesterday once more - totally!

Yes this is my first posting to the group sorry guys for not responding, yes I truly enjoyed the captions, ofcourse each of it would have made more sense if I was there with you guys.

Very recent pictures....one with my daughter and the baby i'm holding is my granddaughter ie my nieces baby.

 

I have only one daughter her name is jyothsna, she is 6 now you can see her in the picture

Jayachandran, sorry I could not turn up that day, I did want to come but i do not finish my work until its 7 past. anyway good to hear that you guys had a nice time and also good to hear that u are planning something big. I did have a late night get together with a few other guys - i hope you people remember russel, rony philip, sailesh, naveen victor, and luke varghese, we met up for dinner (sorry no photos we were too drunk for that) and we decided to have the next get-together at a dance club sometime in july - just for the heck of it

anyway - thanks jayachandran for making a huge effort in inviting me and i am really sorry i could not make it
