Dear Association,
I would like to bring to your attention some serious cleanliness and hygiene concerns within our society premises that require immediate action.
Dog Poop Across Common Areas: (Attachment has some images of dog poop and dirty sand park)
Dog feces can frequently be seen on walkways, lawns, and other common areas. This not only creates an unpleasant environment but also poses health and hygiene risks.
Poor Condition of the Sand Park:
The sand park has not been cleaned for a long time and is in a very dirty condition. The accumulated dirt,
and unhygienic surroundings make it unsafe and unsuitable for children to play.
I request the management committee to take necessary action.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Regards,
Ranvijay Singh

Dear Resident,
Good Day!
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.
Regarding pet waste in the common areas, we would like to inform you that all pet owners are responsible for collecting and disposing of their pets waste to help maintain a clean and hygienic environment within the community. The maintenance team has already published notices reminding all pet owners of their responsibilities. In addition, our gardening team carries out daily morning cleaning of the garden and other common areas to ensure cleanliness.
With respect to the children's sand park, please be informed that it is cleaned regularly by our housekeeping team every morning. However, due to windy weather and children using the sand park during the evenings, leaves and other debris may accumulate throughout the day. We maintain the area daily as part of our routine housekeeping.
For your reference, we have attached photographs showing the current condition of the sand park after the cleaning activities.
We appreciate your feedback and continued support in helping us maintain a clean and pleasant living environment for all residents.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Prem Kumar

Subject: Re: Immediate Attention Required – Cleanliness and Hygiene Concerns in Society Premises
Hi Pream,
Thank you for your response.
I appreciate that the society has pet-related guidelines in place and that the gardening team undertakes daily cleaning of the garden and other common areas. However, the current situation on the ground suggests that either the guidelines are not being adequately followed or the cleaning efforts are not effectively addressing the issue.
The concern is not limited to a single location. Dog feces can be found at approximately 8–10 different spots across the pathway near sand park. Some of these deposits appear to have remained unattended for several days and have even started decomposing, which raises serious concerns about cleanliness, hygiene, and the overall quality of the living environment.
As residents, we take pride in our community and reasonably expect common areas to be clean, safe, and well-maintained. This issue is particularly concerning for children, senior citizens, and residents who regularly use these spaces.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to a resolution.
Regards,
Ranvijay Singh
Thanks, Prem, for bringing the pet guidelines to everyone’s attention again.
I also hope that, with your guidance, Gopakumar will be able to reach out to all pet parents (not “owners”) across SDA. Palm Spring has only a handful of pet parents, and most of us were actively involved in discussions around shaping this pet policy.
We regularly see pets being walked through the passages by pet parents and dog walkers from Phases 1, 2, and 4. Many of them may not be aware of the designated areas for pets, and unfortunately, there are also instances where pet litter is not cleaned up, especially in areas with poor lighting or no camera coverage.
As pet parents in Palm Spring, we make a conscious effort to educate and remind people whenever we come across such incidents. We do this not only to encourage responsible pet parenting across the community, but also to ensure that a few isolated incidents do not result in emails or complaints that unfairly appear to target one group or one phase.
It would be helpful if the guidelines and reminders could be communicated consistently to all pet parents and dog walkers across SDA, so that awareness and responsibility are shared equally across the entire community.
