Concern Regarding Security Management & Security Protocols

Dear Association / Security Management Team,

Greetings.

Residents’ security is becoming a matter of concern. 

In a recent incident, it was observed that a security guard, without a proper/valid ID card (only wearing a ribbon hidden inside to appear compliant), was asking residents to verify themselves through MyGate before entering the society.

It is quite concerning that residents are expected to follow strict verification protocols, while security personnel themselves appear without proper identification. “Unverified security asking verified residents for verification” reflects poorly on the current security management process.

Requesting the Association to kindly look into this matter seriously and ensure proper ID verification, accountability, and professional conduct from all security staff.

NOTE: There is no personal intention behind this message. The concern is only to highlight potential security loopholes and bring attention to how security management is currently functioning in the society.

Hi Uma,

What do you mean by “misguiding the residents”?
Are you trying to say that you are correct and that the issue I highlighted is wrong?

I would like to request to share the names of all security staff deployed at the main gate on Friday between 26 June 2026, 7:30 PM and 8:45 PM, along with the complete CCTV footage. 

Residents should not be blamed blindly based on your personal interest or assumptions. I request that the matter be handled professionally and avoid showing your personal self achievement. According to you, you are the only person who has done a great job for this society, yet the security vulnerabilities are still not being fixed.
