Hello Association,The concern of using the gym trainers for an hour or two or not to use at all is secondary.Association can assess and take this decision and we would respect and abide by the decision taken in this regard, but everyone has the right to be heard and understood that how a decision will impact someone. The first and foremost point to address is that how someone sitting at the President level in the Association behaves inappropriately with the residents. Does he have all the rights to talk in any inappropriate way and dictate things to the resident, without listening to their concern. Does he have all the rights to decide ways of working in the society and impose it on the residents. If yes, then we are in a very dangerous situation.First of all, he was rude over the call. Then he emailed stating that thanks for misleading the other association members. We have always respected everyone and abided by all the rules and regulations but taking someone's inappropriate language and emails stating that we are misleading the association against him is not something I will take and I want a serious action against this. I am not a person who play dirty games of misleading people and I will not compromise such comments from someone.I asked him to listen to the concern and call a meeting to understand the concerns of the people requesting for trainers, to which he replied that if we need to talk anything then come to the AGM meeting and the decision is taken by the poll and it will not change. To which I added that a poll cannot decide since most of the people do not even come to the gym who has opted against the trainers and it would be good if we can call everyone and have a joint meeting to get these issues addressed appropriately and then take the decision to which he denied.I did mention that there have been others in the association like Prasath and Krishna who have been patient in the past in listening and addressing any issues and then he said that go to whoever but the decision will not change. It is all upto the Association with regards to the decision they want to take with regards to gym usage and we respect other residents concern. But the misuse of position by someone is not something acceptable. All the residents have the right to be heard atleast. We respect everyone and expect the same from others but if they cannot owing to their President level, then this is not acceptable since we are all part of a democratic country first of all where everyone needs to be heard before imposing any decisions.Thank youNeha

I fully agree that the purpose of proposing a combined meeting was to ensure that everyone’s point of view is understood and considered.
At the same time, it’s equally important that every resident’s voice is heard. Some residents were unable to attend the meeting due to their personal schedules on that day, so a poll was suggested to allow those who could not be present in person to still participate and share their opinion. Everyone has an equal right to express their views on society matters, and no resident should be disrespected for sharing their perspective or for participating in the poll.To view this discussion visit https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/sda-owner-wing-49/1701740635.2649619.1772550969326%40mail.yahoo.com.
The concern raised about the poll was not meant to dismiss anyone’s right to express their opinion. It was only to highlight that this particular decision directly impacts a specific group of residents those who actively use the gym and rely on trainer support. When a majority of votes come from residents who do not use the facility regularly, the outcome may not fully reflect the practical challenges faced by regular users.
Everyone absolutely has the right to participate in society matters, whether through meetings or polls. The intention is not to disrespect anyone’s voice, but to ensure that decisions affecting day-to-day usage of a specific facility are made with proper consideration of those who are directly impacted.
Perhaps we can find a balanced approach one that respects inclusive participation while also giving due weight to the concerns of regular users. That way, we maintain both fairness and practicality, and continue to build a cooperative and understanding community.
