Well, that time has come to say good-bye to the User Group. We knew that this day would probably come. When Adobe shifted it's resources away from promoting the Flash Platform, we tried to continue to expand into various web technologies (mirroring much of our shifts in our careers). I focused on front-end frameworks and PhoneGap, while James fell in love with server-side tech. But with the myriad of other Meet-ups in the same topic areas, it was increasingly difficult to stand out. Adobe's own User Group portal was also not helpful in bringing in new members and when we tried meetup.com, it also did not affect attendance.

Before we drift off, we would like to gather one last time to raise a pint and share some food.
