September Meeting Info! Intro to Backbone.js

Come to this month's meeting on Monday, September 10th (due to the Labor Day holiday) to learn about one of the more popular Javascript application frameworks, backbone.js. James Polanco, co-founder of Development Arc, will be giving us a walkthrough of the features and capabilities of this framework. 

Backbone.js gives structure to web applications by providing models with key-value binding and custom events, collections with a rich API of enumerable functions, views with declarative event handling, and connects it all to your existing API over a RESTful JSON interface.
