This is the first of many posts today so stay tuned.

Many of you were interested in getting more information about SQUARE
UP, the credit card device that myself, Carmen, and Laura were using
at the SHLatino Music Fest.

Here is a link to their help page that has videos and answers all
kinds of questions.

My testimonial:
As long as you have good reception the process works really quickly.
My phone is an old iphone and it was a bit slow, BUT all the clients
were patient and in awe that their purchase can go through from a
phone. It was fun for us all. They also liked that the receipt was
sent immediately in a text message or email.

I noticed that clients also ended up buying more since they can simply
charge it!

Hi Nuvia - My experience with Square Up is that it's very easy to use
and quick! The best part of it is you can send a receipt to the
customer right from your cell. Also, the website is very user

Amen SiS! The square worked like magic! My sales increased substantially, customers where able to add a lil more to their cart and the process was very fast. I have a prepaid phone and it worked surprisingly fast. I would definitely recommend it to anybody that wants to increase sales and provide a safe payment method. The set up couldn't be easier and my sales from Saturday where in my bank acct. by Monday night :)

The one thing I would advice is to order your square asap it does take about a week or so to get to you...

DON'T USE SQUARE UP IN YOUR BUSINESS! IT'S A SCAM...
My business, Imperial Shipping Corp., signed up for "Square" as a credit card processor in November 2013. We operate within Miami-Dade and we are a legal and registered entity in the State of Florida. We used Square to process credit cards. All went well for up until October 6th, 2015, when I was informed, after several failed attempts to reach Square to discuss a freeze in our account that they had deactivated our account with no given explanation. Square stated that they sent me a deactivation notice that I never received. They also stated they would be holding any charges [moneys] we had with Square for 180 days, in order to offset any potential refunds or disputes from customers; our clients never filed any of the two aforementioned. Although we submitted all the requested documents, Square only gave us a sort of “do or die” option. One option was to reverse the charges and use another processor. This was not an option for us as a 15,000.00 charge was from a customer that we had already rendered services to and was past due for seven months. If we credited that client, we would never have seen that money again. The other option is to wait 180 days. Square is holding over $16,000.00 of my small business operating money. This has crippled our cash flow and severely damaged our business. I am wondering if this decision was bias in any sort of ways? After reading things online, I now realize that this has happened to countless other people and businesses. It seems to be a regular practice for Square. We need those funds to operate our small shipping business in Miami, Florida.
