Hello everyone,
I'm one of the local organizers for Startup Weekend and we are planning our 13th (!!!) event in San Diego, this time a Women's Edition.
SWSD Women's Edition is focused on women's entrepreneurship - our mentors and speakers will almost entirely be women - but the event is open to everyone; anyone who believes that women have a place in startups is welcome to attend.

Startup Weekend is 54 hours of education, innovation, entrepreneurship, and hands-on experience. Attendees pitch ideas on Friday night and the most popular ideas form teams that work to demo their products or business ideas on Sunday evening, when a panel of judges will award prizes to teams that have the best-formulated ideas. This tactile experience in building a startup from inception to working idea is open to anyone with a passion for learning and creating.
