Hi! My name is Jeffrey, and I'm reaching out to you on behalf of UC San Diego's upcoming event, SD Hacks.

SD Hacks is a hackathon—a 36 hour sprint to build, design, and develop the best and brightest ideas. Over 1500 students from around the world have signed up for SD Hacks, which is set to transform the tech landscape in San Diego.

We’d like to extend an invitation to the SD Hackernews group to provide veteran mentorship to the students who will be participating in SD Hacks. One of the most important aspects of a successful hackathon is the presence of experienced professionals who know the industry and technology. You’ll be helping to shape both the future of the San Diego region and the futures of more than a thousand of the most talented students in the nation.

To find more information for our event, please visit our website (http://www.sdhacks.io). If you are interested in becoming in part of SD Hacks or have any questions feel free to reply by email (see below), I'd love to help you out!
