Hi Grant,
Are you sure upvotes received from people who visit from a direct links are counted by HN? They do display, but I've heard that only votes cast by people "browsing" the site are actually counted. Not sure if this is true, but if it were the case, sharing the title of the post for us to then visit HN, search, and upvote each month might work better. Just throwing this out there.
