Un amable recordatorio de nuestro foro este LUNES 25 DE JUNIO EN ESCONDIDO!
Le mandamos esta invitación a un foro comunitario aquí en Escondido el cual hemos estado coordinando con otras organizaciones en San Diego y California para informar a la comunidad lo que esta pasando con el programa de Comunidades Seguras (S-COMM) en nuestro condado y específicamente como esta afectando a la comunidad migrante. Este foro sera el primero en San Diego y tenemos la oportunidad de tenerlo aquí en nuestra comunidad. Su presencia es importante para nosotros y queremos que venga y comparta con nosotros una tarde de información sobre el Acta de la confianza (Trust Act) que propone que comunidades tengan la opción de no implementar S-COMM.
El clima anti-migrante en Escondido sigue escalando y como comunidad necesitamos unirnos, informarnos, y tomar acción para que este tipo de políticas cambien. Lo esperamos.
La presentación sera en español, habra traduccion al ingles.
Se proveerá cuidado de niños y refrescos.

A friendly reminder about our community forum this MONDAY JUNE 25 IN ESCONDIDO!
We are inviting you to join us for a community forum here in Escondido, that we along with other San Diego organizations have been collaborating on to inform the community about what are the latest updates on Secure Communities (S-COMM) in our county and espicifically on how it is affecting the immigrant communities here. This forum is the first in San Diego and it will be here in our community. Your presence is really important to us, we want you to share in with us on an informative evening about the Trust Act, a proposed billed that if passed would allow communities to opt out from the Secure Communities program.

The anti-immigrant climate in Escondido continues to escalate and as a community we need to unite, inform ourselves and take action against these policies and change them. See you there.
The forum will be conducted in Sapnish, English translation will be provided.
