Improving Financial Literacy MARCH 2011 That's a lot of thanks...thanks a lot! In just a month, we collected 8,200 thank you notes for 1,134 teachers at 198 area schools for the 2010 Thank a Teacher Campaign. This surge in thank you cards set a new record for our award-winning program!      Thanks to Mission Federal Credit Union, the top 6 elementary, middle and high school teachers with the most thank you notes win.   JA Kicked-Off in Imperial Valley Kick-Off event was held at Ballington Academy in Imperial Valley on March 11, 2011. Rabobank, N.A. in El Centro, CA sponsored Kindergarten through 4th grades to bring Junior Achievement's curriculum into their classrooms. Rabobank employees will go to Ballington Academy's classrooms to teach the five JA lessons over the next few weeks.   Thank you for your volunteers and sponsorship!    JA Spotlight  SeaWorld managers came down to volunteer in BizTown on Friday, February 25th to help the 103 students from Euclid Elementary. Thank you for supporting financial literacy.
