Dear San DIego Dream Team,
DREAMS at UC Irvine invites you to its first
annual AB 540* Graduate School Panel Thursday May 12 from 7:00-9:00pm in
the Education Department Room 2001.
An extensive workshop aimed at decoding the process of applying to
graduate school for AB540 students, DREAMS at UCI seeks to create a space
for all interested educators, students, community leaders, and allies to
voice their questions, concerns and unique experiences to create a better
understanding of the various challenges faced in Graduate school. Through
this panel we also hope to inform AB540 students of the tremendous
opportunities available to them regardless of their citizenship status.
Students and faculty from different fields of study, including the Social
Sciences, the Sciences, and Humanities will be present to give their
perspective and advice on the admissions process. Following the panel will
be a Question and Answer session. We hope you can join us on for this
special occasion. Light refreshments will be provided.
Sincerely,
DREAMS at UCI
