REGATTA CHECK-IN & MEASUREMENT NOTICE

CFJ Class Rules will be in effect for this regatta.

All registered boats must complete check-in and measurement on
Thursday, July 24, 2025

The following requirements will be enforced:

Membership status will be verified for skipper and crew.
All boats will be weighed (min 260 lbs).
All sails will be measured.
All sailors will be weighed (min combined 240 lbs).

Please ensure your boat and equipment comply with class standards in advance.

CFJ Class Association

The CFJ Class Association is looking for volunteers to support and continue the tradition of the CFJ class. The class supports young sailors of all skill levels as they transition from sailing mostly single-handed prams to sailing double-handed dinghies with spinnakers. for more information please contact Mike Segerblom - mike...@ussclb.org
CFJ CLASS MEMBERSHIP - Both skipper and crew must be current members of the CFJ Class Association

CFJ CLASS MEASUREMENT CERTIFICATE - All boats must have a CFJ Class Measurement Certificate on file with the class to be eligible to race. Boats not previously measured by the class must make an appointment for a first time measurement by 5 pm on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 - send your appointment request to Mette Segerblom, CFJ Class Secretary. 

EQUIPMENT CHECK AND MEASUREMENT OF HULL & SAILS - All entries must have their boats and equipment checked and sails measured to complete  the regatta registration process.  

CREW WEIGHT - The combined weight of skipper and crew must be 240 lbs or more.  If less, corrector weights will be required.  See Class Rule #35 for more information.
